About Noah – Executive Leadership in Technology and Cybersecurity

I have over 15 years of experience in technology and cybersecurity, including consulting, corporate, and government roles. Throughout my career, I have helped organizations understand the regulations, risks, and challenges they face, and determine strategies for the people, processes, and technologies needed to address them. My responsibilities have included building teams, developing organizational strategies, managing multimillion-dollar budgets and resources, and securing support from executive stakeholders.

I have always believed you cannot truly help an organization become more secure, efficient, or resilient without understanding what it does, who it serves, and how it operates. That understanding has guided my work across healthcare, hospitality technology, automotive remarketing, cybersecurity consulting, and public safety. The environments have changed, but my approach has remained consistent: understand the mission, establish clear priorities, and empower people to deliver results.

Building Teams and Organizational Capabilities

At OurHealth and Cloudbeds, I served as the first security leader, assessing each organization’s needs and developing its strategy, long-range roadmap, staffing model, and budget. I secured executive support and built the teams needed to put those plans into practice. At Redesign Health, I worked with executives, founders, and investors to develop technology and security capabilities supporting the organization and its portfolio of healthcare companies.

My consulting experience at Crowe provided a foundation in assessing complex environments and translating technical findings into practical recommendations. My teams and I helped clients understand their risks and prioritize remediation, communicating with executive stakeholders while providing specific guidance to the technical teams responsible for the work.

Across these roles, I have worked with technology, product development, software engineering, compliance, and business operations teams to balance organizational needs with security and regulatory responsibilities. Effective leadership has meant bringing the right people into the conversation, establishing clear ownership, and ensuring teams have the resources and support to succeed.

Bringing That Experience to Public Safety

As Director of Emerging Technology for Indiana’s Integrated Public Safety Commission, I partnered with local, state, and federal agencies on emerging public safety communications technologies. I also led the agency’s internal IT and cybersecurity functions and served as its chief liaison with the Indiana Office of Technology.

Today, as Division Chief of Technology and Logistics for Vernon Township Fire Department, I apply that experience to technology and cybersecurity strategy, logistics planning, procurement, resource lifecycle management, and operational readiness. My active service as a firefighter, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, and drone pilot keeps those decisions grounded in real-world emergency operations.

Whether leading an enterprise program or developing a new public safety capability, my focus remains on enabling people, processes, and technology to work together toward a safer, more resilient future.
